Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

YUMMMM describes these muffins!! They are one of the easiest things to make too...YAE!
My good friend Jeriel made them and shared one with me at work. They are SO GOOD and I couldn't wait to make them myself. So I whipped up a batch a few days later, and of course Steve, Jeven, and I gobbled 'em right up!
Here's the EASY recipe:
1 box of banana cake mix, like this one:

2 cups UNsweetened applesauce
1/2 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
Mix together. Grease muffin tins and fill 3/4 full. Bake @ 350* for about 25 min.
Once cooled, I refrigerated mine. Since using applesauce I'm not sure if refrigeration is required. I tried researching it and couldn't find an answer. So better to be safe than sorry :)

These are honestly some of the yummiest muffins I've ever had!
Thanks again Jeriel for sharing this recipe with me :)

  2. This sounds like it is lower in fat too b/c of the applesauce & not oil? You think? Sounds delish & I LOVE banana & chocolate together!

  4. I tried these muffins yesterday only I used Betty Crocker Vanilla Cake Mix as they don't sell the Banana flavour here in Australia yet (and we don't have Duncan Hines either), but it was still delicious and my two girls gobbled them up. Thanks for yet another tasty easy recipe. Keep 'em comin.
