Pork Chops With Rice

My stepsister Joanne gave me a cookbook for Christmas in 1994. It's from a small town in North Dakota, called Mohall. It's called "Favorite Recipes From Our Community's Citizens".

I found a recipe in this cookbook that we all like. I make it every now and then and it always tastes so good.

4 pork chops (I use boneless)
salt & pepper to desire
1/3 c. onion, finely diced
1 c. boiling water
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. uncooked rice (I used whole grain)
1/2 green pepper (this is what it calls for, but I use the whole thing) chopped into bite size pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can condensed tomato soup

Place pork chops in bottom of greased casserole dish, season to taste with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and pour evenly over pork chops. Cover and bake in slow oven @ 325* for 1 hour. Add additional water if necessary.
